Water stations not very efficient, if it had been warmer they would have caused a problem. They were pouring individual cups to hand out, and struggling to pour quickly enough

Getting people in the right place in the starting pen needs some more thought. Being slow I headed to the back but still had faster runners behind me.

Newbie to the Colchester Half, and wow what an experience. I will definitely be back. Very well organised. The marshals were absolutely outstanding and brought all the energy. From start to finish, I am grateful to every single person who made this event possible

This was my first road race and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything was very clear and I found it to be very well organised. My info before the week of might have been helpful but I would certainly do this again.

Perhaps more bins on route for gels other than aid stations.

Consider running the lanes first where there is less support and then moving into the town where the crowds would help lift runners with tired legs.

Organisation is fantastic though

A goody bag would speed up the exit from the finish and stop greedy folk taking multiple bananas & crisps. Bags are easy to hand out too. Otherwise great :)

Great event, really enjoyed it. The only negative was the cups or water, impossible to drink on the go and I really doubt this actually saves the environment.

Great organisation, the volunteers were fab. The commentary was encouraging, enthusiastic and spot on!!
I’ve been running in this event since 1982 when it was a Fun Run! Yes, I’m very old!! Thanks for a great day.

Toliets at colchester united not adquate for amount of people taking part.

It would be amazing if the signage on route was in kilometres as well as miles, as some people are more familiar with kilometres.
