Newbie to the Colchester Half, and wow what an experience. I will definitely be back. Very well organised. The marshals were absolutely outstanding and brought all the energy. From start to finish, I am grateful to every single person who made this event possible

This was my first road race and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything was very clear and I found it to be very well organised. My info before the week of might have been helpful but I would certainly do this again.

Perhaps more bins on route for gels other than aid stations.

Be prepared for the hills!
Consider running the lanes first where there is less support and then moving into the town where the crowds would help lift runners with tired legs.

A goody bag would speed up the exit from the finish and stop greedy folk taking multiple bananas & crisps. Bags are easy to hand out too. Otherwise great :)

Very enjoyable. The atmosphere was amazing and the chaperones were so friendly and helpful.
It would be amazing if the signage on route was in kilometres as well as miles, as some people are more familiar with kilometres.

Parking at Hollywood bowl
I have parked today at Hollywood Bowl Cochester because the main car park was full, is says park free for three hours, I need to stsy longer because i came at 8 20am and left at 11.45 when I came it said pay by APP but the App was not downloading, I did take a pixmcture of the QR code but did not work, i asked in the Hollywood Bowl and the gentkenan said patking cameras not set up, pay on exit, but i could not pay in APP on any ither neans, hiw do i stand in thus situation

Fantastic event! Each year just gets better and better. I was a concerned that with c1,000 more runners that the event would lose some of its charm. This was not the case due to the continued superb organisation.
